The World Black Congress envisions a future where the global Black community is unified, empowered, and self-determined — free from the distortions of colonialism and the chains of cultural erasure. This is our founding vision: the long arc of history, bent toward justice and renaissance.
We are not defined by our oppression. We are defined by our civilisations, our brilliance, our resilience — and by the future we choose to build together.
"The WBC will serve as a permanent platform for healing, self-definition, strategic collaboration, and the reclamation of our place in the global narrative — for this generation and every generation to come."
Proposed by Ladi Ayodeji and anchored in the Pan-African tradition of solidarity, the WBC draws inspiration from every generation of Black thinkers, freedom fighters, and community builders who came before.
The World Black Congress can only become what it needs to be if it is built by the people it serves. Add your voice, your skills, and your community to this founding effort.
